Snow chains available upon request when renting a car

Heading to the mountains in winter or early spring? Add anti-slip snow chains to your car rental. We’ll prepare a set to match your tire size, place them in the trunk, and explain how to install them quickly. Perfect for peace of mind on icy climbs, snowy passes, and early-morning packed ice.

When booking, specify “anti-slip snow chains” – include dates, route, and tire size (e.g., 235/55 R19). We’ll confirm compatibility with your chosen car, prepare the set, and mark the option in your booking confirmation.

How It Works

Chains are fitted to the drive axle – installation takes a few minutes on the roadside or in a parking lot. We provide a short guide and demonstrate the key steps. After driving on snow or ice, remove the chains and store them in the provided bag.

Helpful Tips

• Use chains only on snow and ice – on dry asphalt they wear out and can damage the road surface.
• Maintain moderate speed (usually up to 50 km/h) and avoid sharp maneuvers.
• Check chain tension after the first 100–200 meters of driving.
• In some regions of Georgia, chains may be mandatory – follow road signs and local instructions.
• Return the set clean and intact at the end of your trip.
